Rick Ross Addresses Drake, Lil Wayne 'Color Money' Diss on the Breakfast Club

Throughout the feud between Drake and his artist Meek Mill, MMG boss Rick Ross remained neutral, even calling Drizzy his "lil homie." Apparently, he's had a change of heart and it became evident with the release of "Color Money." On Thursday (Dec. 3), Ross stopped by the Breakfast Club and addressed his presumed Drake and Lil Wayne diss.

The interview kicked off with discussion of Ross' latest release and he managed to avoid outright saying that he dissed Drake. He followed up with open-ended statements like, "that record is what it is" and "it's a lot of people that's gunna interpret it a lot of different ways" and "everybody who know Rozay know how I get down" and finally, "let's see how it unfold."

Charlamagne Tha God then asked about the lyrics "So run Forest got some shooters and they dying too / I got more money than that p*ssy that you’re signed to." Ross went on to assure that the lines were not a reference to Lil Wayne or J Prince, leaving the BC crew to assume he made reference to Birdman.

"Weezy my homie. I was just with Weezy the other night in the club, he was just on the remix with me. J Prince that's my big homie," he said. "I don't have one [a relationship] with Birdman."

The Black Market rapper continued to share his thoughts on Birman's treatment of Wayne.

"Right now, really me just seeing what Wayne going through as an artist, me idolizing Birdman at a time, me looking up to Lil Wayne, Wayne being the first artist making to make so many feats not just as an artist but an artist coming through the South, that's something I took personal. For me to see the way things are transpiring, I can't respect that, and I don't respect that."

Closing the conversation about Ross' lyrical shade, Charlamagne asserted, "So we know the p*ssy that Drake signed to is now...We figured it out." The "Sorry" rapper responded with, "It shoulda been easy."

Rick Ross' eighth album, Black Market, is slated to drop on Friday, Dec. 4.
